5th Annual Rodeo Run
The 5th Annual Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce Rodeo Run 5k Run/Walk and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run will begin in the Sikeston Depot parking lot. Pre-registration will start at 6:30 am. $15.00 entry fee if received by July 24. Proceeds will benefit the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce and Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo Parade
Parade floats will line up at 9:00 am in the Depot parking lot. Floats will be judged; 1st place prize-$300 2nd place-$200. The parade will go from the Depot, down New Madrid St. to North Kingshighway, turning right on Salcedo and continuing straight to Ingram Rd, turning left on Ingram to Rodeo Grounds. Following the parade will be community day activites in front of the ticket office including hotdogs, pony rides, dunking booth, clowns. The Rodeo novelties stand will also be open during community day.

The Moving Wall Memorial
The Moving Wall Memorial will be on display in Rotary Park Thursday, September 9 - Monday, September 13. A half-scale replica of the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C., this tribute honors our military and fallen heroes. The Moving Wall will be available for viewing 24 hours a day and panel sponsorships are still available, please contact Tom Austin for more information.

The ladies of the Chamber are invited to enjoy a funfilled day of golf and pampering on Monday September 20, 2010 from 11:00am-4:00pm This is just for ladies and JUST FOR FUN! Community Christmas Sing-a-long
The Community Betterment Association invites you to attend the Community Christmas Carol Sing-Along on Sunday, December 20th. The program will include the singing of favorite carols by the congregation, a choir of volunteer singers, and an orchestra. This year's presentation will be accompanied and directed by Sikeston native, Harry Howard MME, playing the majestic pipe organ. The program will also feature well known soloists and will include the reading of the history of each carol. The Finale will be the singing of the well known Hallelujah Chorus, from Handel's MESSIAH by the choir, congregation and musicians.
