The Portageville Southern TCRC located in the Delta Center will be offering Intro to Computers and Internet Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. This great opportunity for the Bootheel region is occurring because of a grant awarded by WIRED (Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development) to the Southern TCRC. Anyone in surrounding communities can take advantage of this opportunity to sharpen your computer skills. The sessions will take
place every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You must call or email to register. It is first come first

Community Christmas Sing-a-long
The Community Betterment Association invites you to attend the Community Christmas Carol Sing-Along on Sunday, December 20th. The program will include the singing of favorite carols by the congregation, a choir of volunteer singers, and an orchestra. This year's presentation will be accompanied and directed by Sikeston native, Harry Howard MME, playing the majestic pipe organ. The program will also feature well known soloists and will include the reading of the history of each carol. The Finale will be the singing of the well known Hallelujah Chorus, from Handel's MESSIAH by the choir, congregation and musicians. |
