The 2021 Small Business of the Year is...

Nomination Criteria: Business, with typically less than 20 employees that has been a Chamber member for at least 2 years. Has staying power. Proven history and growth. Adaptability to the changing business scene. Shows excellence in management and employee relations. Demonstrates exceptional community service and customer satisfaction. Financial soundness and profitability.

Nomination Criteria: Business and Chamber member that has proven staying power, history and growth. Shows adaptability to the changing business scene. Shows excellence in management and employee relations. Demonstrates exceptional community service and customer satisfaction. Shows financial soundness and profitability.

SRC Volunteer/Member of the Year will be presented as a surprise to the recipient at the Annual Awards Banquet. 

Nomination Criteria: Chamber member (business or individual who is not part of the Executive Committee of the SRC Board of Directors). Has been an integral part of the Chamber. Gives time and energy in Chamber service. Shows leadership and support of the Chamber. Contributes to the community’s growth.

The Emerging Leader Award will be presented as a surprise to the recipient at the Annual Awards Banquet. 

Nomination Criteria: Stand out community member who is a graduate of either the “Leadership Sikeston” or “Vision Sikeston” program. This person must be a chamber member who gives regular time and energy towards Chamber and community service and has emerged as a recognized leader within our area.

The 2021 Educator of the Year will be will be presented as a surprise to the recipient at the Annual Awards Banquet. 

Citizen of the Year will be presented as a surprise to the recipient at the Annual Awards Banquet. 

Nomination Criteria: Individual who has made a lasting contribution to the community.  Leadership ability.  Works (or worked) in the community.  Demonstrates excellence in business, profession and/or a vocation.  Active in community organizations.

The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented as a surprise to the recipient at the Annual Awards Banquet. 

Nomination Criteria: Person who has given of themselves unselfishly throughout their lifetime. Individual 60 years or older with longtime achievement in professional life, as well as contributions in community service and has made a lasting impression on the community.
