NEW SIKESTON RODEO MUSEUM SEEKING HISTORIC MEMORABILIA FOR EXHIBITS
The Sikeston Rodeo Museum, currently under development, will open its doors in the future. The Sikeston Tourism office is seeking historic rodeo memorabilia and film footage for its exhibits. If you possess items that could be featured, please let us know. To submit an item for consideration, either as a donation or a loan, a form can be accessed by CLICKING HERE. We are interested in a variety of historical items related to the Sikeston Rodeo, including saddles, chaps, newspapers, film footage, programs, posters, photographs of cowboys, cowgirls, and entertainers over the years, historic documents, clothing worn by athletes and performers, and other items of public interest for preservation.
The museum will showcase 72 years of the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo's history. Financial contributions are also welcome to support the museum's displays. Please contact (573) 471-2498 or send an email to tourism@sikeston.net if you wish to donate items or learn how to contribute to the Sikeston Rodeo Museum. The museum is recognized as a 501(c)3 organization.

Carlisle Construction Materials LLC (CCM) announced it is investing $62 million and creating 100 new jobs at a new production and manufacturing facility in Sikeston, Missouri.
“Our community is excited to welcome Carlisle Construction Materials to Sikeston, Missouri,” Steven Burch said. “Economic development is a team sport, and that was especially true with this project. I’m proud of the partnerships between the local, regional, and state leaders, including BNSF Railway, that helped us bring this outstanding company to Sikeston.
